How Coupe Line are helping County Durham show support to the NHS

We were very proud to be working on a project with Durham County Council over the Bank Holiday weekend to show our appreciation to those working on the frontline.

NHS staff have been working incredibly hard, especially during this time, so the council came to us wanting to install positive messages on the country’s main roads as a way to reach as many frontline staff as possible and show our support and gratitude as they continue their incredible work to fight the spread of the virus.

We got to work and painted rainbows and messages of thanks across County Durham. We installed them over the Bank Holiday weekend, and chose a time when the roads would be quiet. It is lovely to see how they have brightened up the area and hopefully will make those on the frontline smile when they see them.

You can spot the rainbows on main roads in Durham City, Consett, Stanley, Chester-le-Street, Seaham, Peterlee, Sedgefield, Newton Aycliffe, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle.

The markings are temporary, so if you see them don’t forget to take a picture while you can and share it around social media to help spread positivity and continue to give thanks to all frontline staff.
